SHIPPING AND HANDLING

How much does shipping cost?

Shipping costs are calculated through Canada Post and may vary slightly depending on the weight and dimensions of your package.

Do you ship to the US or internationally?

No. I only ship within Canada. Shipping costs can add up very quickly for a small business so I am unable to ship outside of Canada for the time being.

How long does shipping take?

I usually send packages off about once a week.

I use Canada Post to expedite your parcel to you. Generally, it takes about 2-10 working days for your package to arrive once it is in the post. You will be issued a tracking number once your order is sent so you can keep up to date with its travels.

Please ensure your dropoff location is secure. I recommend requesting a 'signature upon delivery' to ensure you get your package.

If your items are not in stock, it can take up to 6-8 weeks to make, fire, and ship your product. I will ALWAYS contact you if your order isn't ready to ship immediately!

Can I pick up my order at your studio?

Yes! When you checkout online, you can choose the 'Local Pickup' option. I will send you an email and we can go from there.

RETURNS

What is your returns policy?

It is my sincere wish that all customers are happy with their purchases. However, if you are not completely satisfied with the piece, I offer a full refund on its safe return. Please email me at earthlightpottery@gmail.com within 7 business days of delivery stating your intention and order number prior to postage. Items must be returned undamaged and unused. Refunds will not include return shipping costs.

If your piece arrives broken, please send a photo of it in its original packaging within 7 days of delivery. I will either refund you or send a replacement piece free of charge, depending on your preference.

Can I exchange my piece for a different colour or size?

I do not do exchanges, but you can return your piece as per my returns policy and separately purchase your preferred piece.

PRODUCTS

Can I put my piece in the oven/dishwasher/microwave?

Yes. All of my pots are oven safe, dishwasher safe, and microwave safe. However, please avoid extreme thermal changes (ie. putting a casserole dish directly from the fridge/freezer into a hot oven) as this can cause stress fractures in the clay.

Do your glazes contain lead?

No. All of my glazes are lead free and completely food safe.

How much variation can I expect?

Each piece is made by hand and therefore will have slight variations in size, shape and glaze colour.

If you order more than one piece I will do my best to provide you with pieces that match each other. In the case of sets of bowls and plates, I will match pieces that stack well together.

I would like to order a custom item/custom set in XYZ glaze!

For more information regarding custom orders and pricing structures for multiples pieces, please contact me at earthlightpottery@gmail.com so we can discuss details.
